Business Consultant / Project Manager – Vendor Transition & Operating Model Redesign (China Pharma Operations)
Location: Remote, United States

This role supports a strategic transformation initiative focused on vendor transition and team restructuring for pharmaceutical meeting operations in China. The project aims to modernize the China meeting operating model by integrating technical improvements, change management strategies, and efficient service structures—while maintaining cost control and maximizing service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating Model Design & Consolidation:
    • Collaborate with the China meeting team and key business stakeholders to consolidate and optimize the existing meeting operating model.
    • Incorporate feedback, new services, and system enhancements (including Navigator platform impacts) into a refined, scalable solution.
  • Stakeholder & Workstream Coordination:
    • Serve as the coordination point across business stakeholders, digital transformation teams, finance, compliance, legal, and data privacy.
    • Ensure alignment and integration across all workstreams during the vendor transition.
  • Service Line Management:
    • Design and manage multiple meeting service lines to support operational simplicity and improved delivery outcomes.
    • Drive consistency in approach, documentation, and service expectations across functions.
  • Change Management & Communication:
    • Develop and implement communication strategies and change management deliverables to support a smooth transition.
    • Support training and onboarding for restructured roles and processes.
  • Metrics & Policy Governance:
    • Define KPIs to measure transition progress, stakeholder satisfaction, and operational performance.
    • Lead policy reviews and updates based on new workflows or compliance requirements.
  • Budget & Efficiency Tracking:
    • Oversee project budgeting, identifying cost-saving opportunities and tracking realized efficiencies throughout the transition process.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 6–10 years of experience in project management, organizational change, or business consulting—preferably in pharmaceutical or life sciences sectors.
  • Experience with team restructuring, vendor transitions, or regional operating model implementation.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Proven ability to manage both strategic planning and operational execution.
Preferred:
  • Experience working within the China market or APAC region in a regulated industry.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken) for cross-border coordination.
  • Familiarity with meeting planning platforms, compliance requirements, or digital transformation tools (e.g., Navigator).
