Our client is a renewable energy solutions provider based in Australia.

About the role

We are seeking a talented Creative Designer to join our client's team. In this role, you will be the creative force behind the client company's social media presence and advertising campaigns, translating complex energy solutions into compelling visual stories that resonate with homeowners.

This is a part-time (20 hours/week) role requiring availability during Australian business hours (4 hours daily).

Responsibilities include:

  • Design daily social media content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
  • Create scroll-stopping ads for Meta, Google, and other digital platforms
  • Develop brand-consistent marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and promotional collateral
  • Design email marketing templates and campaigns
  • Create infographics that simplify technical information about energy savings and rebates
  • Produce engaging visual content that showcases our products (heat pumps, solar systems, air conditioning)
  • Maintain brand consistency across all customer touchpoints

About you

  • Exceptional eye for layout, typography, color theory, and composition
  • Strong portfolio showcasing social media campaigns that drive engagement
  • Experience designing for B2C audiences and home improvement or sustainability sectors
  • Ability to create clean, modern designs that balance aesthetic appeal with clear messaging
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Motion graphics, animation skills and basic video editing capabilities (After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar) are highly valued
  • Experience with Canva and social media design tools
  • Understanding of design specifications for various social platforms
  • Ability to interpret marketing briefs and translate them into effective creative
  • Understanding of what performs well across different platforms (Instagram vs. Facebook vs. LinkedIn)
  • Ability to adapt designs for different formats (stories, reels, carousels, static posts)
  • Experience designing for paid social advertising
  • Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively in a remote environment
  • Excellent communication skills and responsiveness
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with the marketing team
  • Organized approach to managing multiple projects and deadlines
