National Account Manager
Location: Remote - Canada 
Compensation: $85,000 to $95,000 base salary, $130,000 OTE with additional upside for exceeding quota

We are recruiting a National Account Manager on behalf of a growing Canadian wholesale distribution company with coast-to-coast capabilities across Canada and expanding business across the U.S.

This is a strong opportunity for a sales professional with experience selling consumer products, wholesale distribution, retail programs, or channel-based solutions into major retail accounts. The company is looking for someone who can grow national and regional retail relationships, expand product assortment, and drive new opportunities with retailers, carriers, dealers, and vendor partners.

This is not a passive account management role. The ideal candidate has a true hunter mindset, understands how to open doors with retail buyers and category teams, and knows how to grow SKU penetration across existing and new accounts.

What You'll Be Doing

You will be responsible for developing and growing national and regional retail accounts across Canada and the U.S. This includes building a strong sales pipeline, identifying new distribution opportunities, expanding product assortment, and working closely with internal product and operations teams to support pricing, inventory planning, promotions, and go-to-market execution.

You will also work directly with vendor partners to strengthen relationships, support retail growth, and ensure the right products are positioned with the right customers at the right time.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience in sales, business development, national accounts, distribution, or consumer products. Experience selling into major retailers is strongly preferred.

You should be comfortable negotiating with retail partners, presenting new opportunities, managing complex account relationships, and driving measurable revenue and margin growth. The right person will be organized, entrepreneurial, energetic, and comfortable working remotely while traveling as needed across Canada and the U.S.

Ideal Background

Strong candidates may come from consumer products, wholesale distribution, electronics, telecom/carrier retail, CPG, retail channel sales, or products sold through major retail chains.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a base salary of $85,000 to $95,000, with an expected OTE of approximately $130,000 and additional upside for exceeding quota. The package also includes a car allowance, communication allowance, employee benefits, and the opportunity to take on a high-impact growth role with a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company.
