About the Role: We're looking for a Business Analyst with four plus years of experience within legal, financial services, or consulting to help bridge the gap between our business and technology teams. In this role, you'll gather requirements, improve processes, and work across departments to ensure our tech solutions align with business goals. Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define project scope, document requirements, and design solutions.
  • Lead discussions, workshops, and analysis to understand current processes and business needs.
  • Translate user input into clear documentation, including workflows, use cases, and technical specs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver project materials such as functional specs, UI mockups, and test scenarios.
  • Analyze data from multiple sources to identify true business needs and recommend effective solutions.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and technology-driven change.
  • Participate in application testing and support implementations.
  • Work independently or with senior leadership to move projects from concept to execution.
  • Act as a communication bridge between legal, operations, and IT teams.
Must-Have Qualifications:
  • 4+ years in a business analyst or operations role within legal, financial services, or consulting environments.
  • Strong skills in gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills—verbal and written—with the ability to work across teams and levels.
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational database concepts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Strong sense of ownership and problem-solving ability.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with JIRA and workflow mapping tools like Microsoft Visio.
  • Understanding of legal operations or case management systems.
  • Ability to mentor and train others on analysis methodologies.
  • Curiosity to learn internal systems and contribute to process improvements.
