Job description
Position Overview: This role is part of the Population Health and Clinical Operations (PHCO) Project Management Office. The Project Manager will lead business (non-IT) clinical system migration initiatives, ensuring alignment with operational needs and system development capabilities across multiple healthcare functions. Key Responsibilities:
Lead Population Health and Clinical Operations project management initiatives focused on clinical system migrations.
Oversee business areas such as Utilization Management, Care Management, Appeals, Medical Management, and Pharmacy.
Facilitate weekly PHCO Clinical Functional Workgroup meetings and ensure effective coordination of action items.
Develop and maintain PHCO business process project plans, tracking milestones and deliverables.
Present weekly project updates, highlighting risks, progress, and decisions during leadership meetings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions supporting organizational goals.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in project or program management within managed care or healthcare.
Demonstrated experience leading non-IT clinical system migration projects.
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and project management tools such as Smartsheet or Planview.
Skilled in managing diverse, matrixed teams across multiple functions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
2–3 years of experience in Population Health initiatives.
Hands-on experience with TruCare clinical systems.
PMP, PgMP, or CAPM certification.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organization, task management, and follow-up abilities.
