Job description

Position Overview: This role is part of the Population Health and Clinical Operations (PHCO) Project Management Office. The Project Manager will lead business (non-IT) clinical system migration initiatives, ensuring alignment with operational needs and system development capabilities across multiple healthcare functions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Population Health and Clinical Operations project management initiatives focused on clinical system migrations.
  • Oversee business areas such as Utilization Management, Care Management, Appeals, Medical Management, and Pharmacy.
  • Facilitate weekly PHCO Clinical Functional Workgroup meetings and ensure effective coordination of action items.
  • Develop and maintain PHCO business process project plans, tracking milestones and deliverables.
  • Present weekly project updates, highlighting risks, progress, and decisions during leadership meetings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions supporting organizational goals.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in project or program management within managed care or healthcare.
  • Demonstrated experience leading non-IT clinical system migration projects.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and project management tools such as Smartsheet or Planview.
  • Skilled in managing diverse, matrixed teams across multiple functions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Population Health initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience with TruCare clinical systems.
  • PMP, PgMP, or CAPM certification.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization, task management, and follow-up abilities.
