Java Developer – Remote (Canada)

We are hiring an experienced Java Developer for a remote opportunity based in Canada. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development experience and hands-on expertise in modern Java technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications
  • Develop REST APIs and microservices architecture
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance application performance
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in Java development
  • Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Microservices
  • Experience with REST APIs and backend integrations
  • Good knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Cloud experience with AWS/Azure is a plus

Eligibility:

  • Candidates must have valid work authorization in Canada
  • PR/Citizens/Open Work Permit holders preferred
  • No sponsorship available

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with React or Angular
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
