Data Engineer



Location: Remote in Latam
Job Type: Full-Time Employee or Contractor
Contract Type: Full-time Colombian Labor Contract or Contractor


We’re seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. You will work closely with analysts, data scientists, and backend teams to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and secure.


Key Responsibilities


  • Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing.
  • Develop and manage data warehouse and data lake solutions.
  • Optimize data models for reporting and analytics.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and governance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.


Technical Requirements


  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Hands-on with orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, DBT).
  • Experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and streaming tools (Kafka, Kinesis).


General Qualifications


  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
  • Fluent English (B2+).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
