Delivering high-quality visual effects matching artistic vision within technical constraints.
Creating and implementing particle effects for characters, environments, gameplay and cutscenes.
Maintaining high-quality and optimized VFX in collaboration with Lighting, Material and Tech Art teams.
Collaborating with multiple disciplines to create high-quality VFX for gameplay, cinematics and environments.
Researching new workflows, tools and techniques to improve and push the quality of real-time VFX.
Creating visually engaging and immersive VFX for environments.
Delivering assets that fit in the technical budgets.
Documenting workflow and communicating relevant information to other teams.
Professional experience creating real-time VFX for games including shipped or completed projects.
A strong portfolio that demonstrates VFX creation for games.
Expertise in both real-time and baked simulations.
Ability to create high quality visual effects consistent with the artistic vision and quality of the project.
Experience with creating a wide variety of realistic game-ready visual effects.
Experience with in-engine particle systems.
Solid understanding of real-time rendering techniques, shaders and lighting.
Very good knowledge of 3D packages (3ds Max/Blender), texture authoring software (Photoshop/Substance Designer) and simulation software (Houdini).
Good understanding of performance limitations and optimization procedures.
Outstanding creativity and attention to detail.
Ability to independently plan your own work, search for references and present ideas to stakeholders.
Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
Fluent in English.
