Experience Level
This role is ideal for a Test Craftsperson (Automation QA Engineer) with 3+ years of hands-on experience. We are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in testing methodologies, an adaptable mindset, and an eagerness to leverage modern tools.
Role Overview
We’re on the hunt for Test Craftspeople who take pride in their work and the code they write. If you believe in and evangelize XP principles, and if you are motivated and passionate about forming great teams, we want you!
We look for engineers who are technology-agnostic—while you have strong foundational skills, you aren't tied to a single tool and can easily adapt to evolving tech stacks. Additionally, you possess great AI expertise, utilizing AI assistants responsibly to augment, accelerate, and elevate your testing strategies.
We strongly adhere to being a DevOps organization, where developers and testers own the entire release cycle. This means you will get to work on programming languages, infrastructure technologies in the cloud, client communication, and everything in between.
What You’ll Be Doing
Own End-to-End Testing: Manage testing initiatives throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within a continuous deployment environment.
Functional and Automated Testing: Run functional and automated tests, identify test conditions, and develop comprehensive test scenarios.
Test Automation Frameworks: Create, maintain, and evolve test automation frameworks using modern tools.
Leverage AI Responsibly: Use AI tools to optimize test case generation, analyze bug patterns, and accelerate documentation workflows, while maintaining human-in-the-loop quality control.
Understand User Behavior: Focus on user behavior to enable rapid rollouts of new features and fixes. Act as the user’s representative to ensure stability, integrity, and predictability of the system in production.
Business Analyst Collaboration: Understand the system deeply to identify and suggest process improvement opportunities, write user stories, understand the product roadmap, and plan sprints with the team.
Lifelong Learning: Make a pledge to never stop learning and continuously improve your skills.

- AI Tool Fluency (Manual Testing): Practical experience using AI tools (like ChatGPT, Claude, or specialized QA assistants) to brainstorm edge cases, write smarter test cases, generate mock data, and accelerate documentation workflows.
- AI Tool Fluency (Test Automation): Hands-on experience leveraging AI-powered coding assistants (such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor) to accelerate test script creation, debug automation failures, and maintain automation frameworks more efficiently.
- Ownership: A strong sense of ownership and an obsessive drive to deliver quality products.
Technical Competencies
Current Baseline Stack: Hands-on experience with either Cypress or Playwright as an automation framework, and JavaScript as a core programming language.
