Requirements:

  • Proactively manage a complex, evolving executive calendar and coordinate meetings across senior leaders, clients, and external partners
  • Act as gatekeeper and thought partner, manage incoming requests, prep materials, summarize insights, and track deliverables and action items; assist with budget tracking and vendor coordination as needed
  • Draft and manage executive communications (emails, presentations, talking points) and build relationships across CarepathRx, Verity, and Evernorth networks to ensure efficient information flow
  • Plan and execute leadership meetings and offsites, including agenda development, note-taking, outcomes tracking, and travel logistics

Job description

The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative and strategic support to the President of CarepathRx and Verity Solutions. This role serves as a trusted partner and extension of the leader, managing day-to-day operations, priorities, and communications to enable effectiveness at the executive level. The EA operates with a high degree of discretion, anticipates needs, and ensures seamless coordination across a complex, matrixed organization.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support & Calendar Management

  • Proactively manage a complex, constantly evolving executive calendar, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities

  • Coordinate meetings across multiple stakeholder groups, including senior leaders, clients, and external partners

  • Anticipate scheduling conflicts and reprioritize effectively to maximize leader impact

Strategic & Operational Support

  • Serve as a gatekeeper and thought partner, managing incoming requests and ensuring focus on high-priority initiatives

  • Prepare the President for meetings by gathering materials, compiling briefings, and summarizing key insights

  • Track key deliverables, follow-ups, and action items to ensure timely execution

  • Assist with budget tracking, expense reporting, and vendor coordination as needed

Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Draft and manage executive communications (emails, presentations, talking points, and announcements)

  • Interface with senior leaders across CarepathRx, Verity, and broader Evernorth/Cigna networks

  • Build strong relationships to ensure efficient coordination and information flow

Meeting & Event Management

  • Plan and execute leadership meetings and offsites

  • Develop agendas, capture notes, and track outcomes and next steps

  • Coordinate logistics including travel, accommodations, and meeting materials

Confidentiality & Discretion

  • Manage highly sensitive and confidential information with the utmost professionalism

  • Exercise sound judgment in handling complex or ambiguous situations

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of executive-level administrative support, ideally supporting VP/SVP/President-level leaders

  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills 

  • Strong business acumen and ability to anticipate executive needs

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) and collaboration tools

  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 33 - 49 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
