Hours: Monday - Friday 9AM-5PM (in your timezone, flexible hours)
Total Compensation: $21,000 - $25,000 USD Annually + Benefits 
New Hire Starting Pay: $21,000 - $24,000 USD Annually + Benefits

The Role

Joining the Performance Department (performance marketing) as our Project Lead, you'll be responsible for providing stability within your team by supporting your direct manager through mentoring, training, and developing team members. You will also apply expert-level strategic thinking to promote sustainable project growth, ensuring long-term success in performance marketing initiatives.

Your focus of responsibilities will be:

  • Domain: Making expert-level project contributions, autonomously leading projects of varying complexity to a high standard of quality, with a focus on testing and creative problem solving, maintaining client success where applicable and reasonable while supporting others around you and teaching others to do the same.
  • Client: Exemplifying Thrive's standards for client success through strong day-to-day communication, agile and proactive problem solving, project management, and anticipating client needs.
  • People: Accountable for training and developing team members to be world-class performance marketers with Thrive's standards of quality and impact to aid in the growth of company performance expertise.
  • Company: Understands and takes action to be a key influencer and innovator in helping Thrive improve our products and services, and enhancing team member contributions while aligning individual contributions with the wider team or program objectives.

 

We’re committed to delivering an exceptional onboarding experience that will create a strong foundation for your launch in this role:

  • In your first 30 days you’ll familiarize yourself with Thrive’s mission, values, and processes, complete your technical onboarding bootcamp, and onboard onto your team, emphasizing on building relationships.
  • In your first 60 days you’ll put your learning, skills, and experiences into action by supporting on assigned client accounts, preparing and leading client calls, and helping your Strategist manage projects end-to-end.
  • In your first 90 days you’ll have become integrated into the team, becoming an efficient contributor and trusted partner to your assigned clients and team members. You’re starting to train others on the work we do. 

 

Qualifications

  • You have executed, maintained, and scaled performance marketing accounts of $100k-200K USD media spend per month at a consistently positive ROI for the client across multiple platforms at a time including Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, Display, Programmatic Platforms, TikTok, Twitter, Spotify and others.
  • You have experience directly collaborating with and supporting team members to achieve project & team goals. You have coached, mentored, or trained people before, helping them reach their career development goals.
  • You have advanced analytical skills and experience using data visualization tools like Google Sheets, Excel, Google Data Studio, Tableau or similar platforms to pull, sort, analyze and draw insight from ad platforms, analytics, and / or business intelligence tools. You have built your own dashboards before, or automated some manual reporting to make it more efficient. 
  • You’ve managed performance media across a range of business verticals and sizes (ecommerce, lead gen, etc), and have been responsible for leading projects end-to-end, including delegation to more junior team members.
  • You have successfully managed and grown client relationships via weekly touchpoint meetings and asynchronous communication, and were able to make strategic recommendations that helped grow their business in the form of quarterly planning meetings or similar.
