Vice President of Sales, Industry Sector Lead
Remote | $180K Base | $360K OTE | Uncapped Commission + Equity

Our client is a high-growth AI company that recently raised its Series A and is preparing for its Series B. They are building an AI-native platform that helps enterprise organizations manage safety, compliance, and operational risk across industries where mistakes can cost lives and millions of dollars.

We are recruiting a Vice President of Sales to become the founding sales leader for a newly formed industry sector focused on manufacturing, transportation, logistics, fleet, construction, and safety-critical enterprise environments. This is a ground-floor leadership role for a proven enterprise sales executive who can build the go-to-market strategy, recruit and lead a team of AEs, and personally close marquee enterprise deals.

The platform sells into VP EHS, Chief Safety Officer, COO, VP Operations, CHRO, and other senior stakeholders at mid-to-large enterprises. Deal sizes range from approximately $75K to $600K+ ACV, with complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

What You'll Do:

  • Build and scale an enterprise sales team from the ground up
  • Define territory planning, account segmentation, sales methodology, and GTM strategy
  • Personally close strategic enterprise deals in year one
  • Leverage existing relationships across EHS, safety, compliance, manufacturing, transportation, or construction
  • Represent the company at major industry events and help establish category leadership
  • Partner with product and customer success to turn customer outcomes into repeatable sales momentum

What We're Looking For:

  • 10+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience
  • 3 to 5+ years in sales leadership, managing quota-carrying AEs
  • Deep network in EHS, safety, compliance, manufacturing, transportation, logistics, fleet, or construction
  • Experience selling $100K+ ACV enterprise deals
  • Proven ability to build teams, close executive-level deals, and create repeatable sales process

Compensation: $180K base, $360K OTE, uncapped commissions, accelerators, meaningful equity, full benefits, remote-first structure, and approximately 30% travel.
