Responsibilities

  • Technical analysis support: Daily data monitoring of allocated projects; oversee daily operations of rooftop/utility-scale solar PV plants as per schedule; identify and resolve performance issues to maximize generation.
  • Analytical: Maintaining breakdown sheet, customer complaint register, and module cleaning sheet for data analytics; coordination with analytics team for tracking KPI like PR, plant availability and generation guarantee.
  • Documentation: OM audit before project handover; maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdown reports, and performance logs; supervise technicians and contractors during maintenance activities.
  • Process improvements: Update customer complaint registers daily and track closure as per target date; coordinate with vendors for IMS documentation adherence; creation of tracker for failures of inverter, sensor, modules, and equipment; spares management and inventory tracking for all sites allocated; diagnose faults in electrical and mechanical systems and plan ahead; coordinate with OEMs/vendors for technical support and warranty claims and advance planning on extended warranty for equipment.

Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Purpose:

O&M Engineer – will be responsible for ensuring maximum plant uptime, efficiency, and compliance with safety and quality
standards for Enerparc India’s rooftop and ground mount projects. The role includes managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing
solar PV plant performance. The position demands strong analytical/coordination skills, electrical engineering fundamentals,
and an understanding of the Solar PV operations. Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, transformers, and protection
systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical analysis & support:

• Daily data Monitoring of projects allocated
• Oversee daily operations of solar PV plants (rooftop/utility-scale) as per the schedule
• Identify and resolve performance issues to maximize generation.

2. Analytical:

• Maintaining Breakdown sheet, customer complaint register, module cleaning sheet for Data Analytics
• Coordination with analytics team for tracking KPI like PR, Plant availability and Generation guarantee

3. Documentation:

• O&M audit before project handover and share punch points
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdown reports, and performance logs.
• Supervise technicians and contractors during maintenance activities.

4. Process improvements:

• Update Customer complaint registers daily and track closure as per the target date mentioned
• Coordinate with vendors for IMS documentation adherence
• Creation of tracker for failures of Inverter, sensor, modules, any equipment etc – weekly update
• Spares management and inventory tracking for all sites allocated
• Diagnose faults in electrical and mechanical systems and plan ahead
• Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for technical support and warranty claims and advance planning on extended
warranty for equipments


Requirements

Qualifications:

• Education: B.E./B. Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics engineering or Renewable Energy.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years in solar PV, preferably in O&M.

• Technical Competencies:
o Technical coordination/report writing
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o Strong ability to resolve all site related technical issues as per the targets.

• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Adaptability: Able to work effectively within an operations environment

• Communication skills:
o Proficient in written and spoken English
o Fluency in regional languages such as Kannada and Tamil is preferred
