Job description

This is a remote position.

Seeking a senior hands-on .NET lead developer who can own delivery, improve code quality, mentor developers, and work closely with architecture, QA, DB, DevOps, and product stakeholders. This person must be comfortable in a legacy/modernization environment, not only greenfield development. They should be able to fix performance issues, improve patterns, lead code reviews, and deliver features safely in a live production platform.

Key responsibilities

Lead development work across .NET / C# / Azure-based applications.
Review and improve code quality, performance, maintainability, and reliability.
Work on application performance improvements: async/await, EF Core usage, caching, API design, memory allocation, HttpClient usage, long-running processes, and error handling.
Support decomposition of monolithic functionality into modular components or services.
Partner with QA on testability, regression coverage, defect triage, and release readiness.
Mentor mid-level developers and raise engineering standards.
Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and reduce rework.
Participate in production issue analysis and root-cause reviews.
