Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Inventor) and related design tools to develop and maintain detailed building services models
Experience with clash detection, design coordination, and translating concepts with engineers and designers
Knowledge of Australian Standards and Regulations relevant to building services and BIM (e.g., AS1657) and industry BIM standards
Ability to work remotely/home-based with strong communication, documentation, and coordination skills with production teams and trades

Job description
• Develop & maintain detailed building services BIM models using Revit, Inventor, and other design software.
• Conduct clash detection and resolution to ensure design integrity and constructability.
• Coordinate models with other trades/contractors on the project
• Maintain project documentation and update models based on feedback and changes throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant Australian Standards and Regulations. (e.g., AS1657 for Fixed platforms, walkways, stairways and ladders) as well as industry BIM standards and project-specific requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
• Work closely with engineers and system designers to translate concepts and technical specifications into workable designs.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure drawings and plans are feasible for manufacturing.
• Participate in design reviews and quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards are met.
• Contribute to the development of innovative design solutions that improve product performance
• Stay updated on industry trends, safety standards, and technological advancements in CAD and BIM.
