Job Title: Benefits & Payments Coordinator (Medical Billing)

Location: Remote (US Hours: 9am - 5pm EST)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Overview:
ReWorks Solutions is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Benefits & Payments Coordinator specializing in medical billing. The successful candidate will manage insurance benefits verification, payment processing, and related administrative duties within a healthcare or ABA service environment.

This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong ability to manage multiple tasks, and familiarity with medical billing procedures and insurance processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify insurance benefits and coverage accurately and timely
  • Coordinate payments and assist with the processing of medical billing claims
  • Maintain accurate records of benefits, payments, and patient accounts
  • Communicate with insurance providers, clients, and internal teams to resolve billing issues
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies
  • Support billing and benefits process improvements and reporting
  • Prepare documentation for audits and assist with payment reconciliations

Requirements

  • Previous experience in medical billing or benefits coordination, preferably in ABA or healthcare settings
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing billing and payments
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively
  • Proficiency with billing software and Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment
