Our Client  is an Australian financial services firm based in Queensland, providing personalised financial planning and wealth management advice. They specialise in superannuation, investments, retirement planning, insurance, and cashflow and debt management, with a strong focus on client-first, long-term relationships.

 

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join our financial advice team in a full-time offshore capacity based in the Philippines. This role is suited to a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with strong technical capability and experience supporting Australian Financial Advisers.


The successful candidate will assist in the preparation of high-quality Statements of Advice (SOAs), Records of Advice (ROAs), and research, with a particular focus on superannuation and personal insurance advice.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare compliant and accurate Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs)

  • Assist advisers and paraplanners with strategy modelling and product comparisons

  • Conduct research on superannuation, insurance, and investment products

  • Prepare file notes, application paperwork, and implementation documents

  • Manage and maintain client records within CRM systems

  • Liaise with advisers and internal team members to manage workflow and deadlines

  • Ensure all documentation aligns with Australian compliance and best practice standards



Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Paraplanner within Australian financial planning

  • Strong understanding of superannuation and personal insurance advice

  • Experience preparing Statements of Advice (SOAs)

  • Proficient in:

  • Microsoft Excel

  • Microsoft Word

  • CRM systems

  • Google Workspace

  • Xplan

  • Lonsec

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills

  • High attention to detail and ability to work autonomously

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

 Highly Regarded:

  • Experience with retirement planning and wealth accumulation strategies

  • Understanding of Australian compliance requirements and advice processes

  • Experience working with Australian financial advisers or licensees

  • Familiarity with investment platforms and insurance providers
