Roles & Responsibilities

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience within the Payments Industry (preferably focused on Ecommerce)
  • Minimum of 2 years' people management experience
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales and revenue targets and ability to self-generate new business
  • Previous experience driving Ecommerce Sales at management level (desirable)

Requirements:

  • Drive new Ecommerce sales for the Irish market (including Northern Ireland) and own the Ecommerce revenue budget, leading a dedicated Ecom Sales team to increase market share.
  • Develop a 2-year strategy for building Ecommerce market share in Ireland and achieve/exceed new Ecommerce revenue targets.
  • Sign and manage relevant external partners to support Ecommerce growth; provide specialist support to the sales channel for Ecommerce opportunities.
  • Create an Ecommerce Sales Acquisition Play Book and training materials; represent the Irish business at relevant industry events; provide feedback to SLT/Product teams to improve the Ecommerce product suite and onboarding.

PURPOSE

The Ecom Sales manager will be responsible for driving Ecommerce Sal

es in Ireland & Northern Ireland and owning the Ecommerce Sales revenue budget. They will manage a dedicated Ecom Sales team with a view to significantly increasing Global Payments/BOIPA’s market share of the Ecommerce Market in Ireland & Northern Ireland. 

This role reports directly into the Director of Sales for Ireland on the IE Sales Leadership team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary

  • Primary driver of New Ecommerce Sales for the Irish Business
  • Devise a 2 year strategy for building Ecommerce market share in Ireland
  • Achieve/exceed new Sales revenue targets for Ecommerce Sales
    • Through a dedicated Ecom Sales team
    • While supporting increased Ecom sales from the overall Sales Channel
  • Ownership of Irish businesses Ecommerce New Business target
  • Identify & act on opportunities to drive increased Ecommerce Sales across the Sales Channel
  • Targeted on seeking out & signing relevant external Partners to support Ecommerce growth
  • Work with Sales Leadership team to collate feedback from channel to identify upside opportunities & increase overall confidence in selling Ecommerce solutions
  • A specialist support for the sales channel to lean on for Ecommerce opportunities.
  • Create Ecommerce Sales Acquisition Play Book/ Training material

Secondary

  • Represent the Irish Business at all relevant Industry Events  
  • Work with key internal stakeholders to continuously improve the overall Ecommerce product Suite offering and onboarding processes
  • Provide ongoing feedback to SLT/ Product teams on how Ecommerce product suite is resonating with merchants

COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS or ABILITIES / BEHAVIOUR)

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience within the Payments Industry
    • Preferably focused on the Ecommerce Market
  • Minimum of 2 years’ people management experience
  • Previous experience driving Ecommerce Sales at management level is desirable
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales and revenue targets and ability to self-generate new business
  • A natural leader & ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
  • Takes ownership of tasks/ responsibilities without need for prompting
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong analytical Skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite Skills with emphasis on Excel
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma/Certificates in Business Development a plus
