Job Description
Railserve is hiring dependable, safety-focused CDL Drivers in Indiana to support rail construction and operations projects. This is a full-time, hands-on role responsible for transporting equipment, materials, and tools to job sites while supporting field operations.

In this role, you will safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle, assist with loading and unloading equipment, and support field teams as needed. You will play a critical role in ensuring materials and equipment are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with DOT and FRA regulations.

Full-time; schedule varies based on project and travel requirements

Compensation:
Hourly pay based on experience

Duties

  • Safely operate a Class A truck hauling equipment on flatbed and lowboy trailers
  • Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and perform basic preventive maintenance
  • Report any defects or maintenance needs to internal teams
  • Maneuver trucks in tight environments such as construction zones and active job sites
  • Load, secure, and unload equipment and materials safely
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
  • Maintain proper documentation for deliveries, inspections, and incidents
  • Assist with labor or equipment operation tasks as needed
  • Wear required PPE and follow all safety protocols
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
  • Ability to secure loads safely to trailers
  • Experience operating heavy equipment preferred
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
  • Ability to travel regularly and stay overnight as needed
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and job site environments
  • Ability to operate in construction zones and uneven terrain
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Strong attention to safety and detail
