We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and proactive Content & Digital Marketing Assistant to support our growing digital presence. Employment Type: Independent Contractor / Virtual Assistant
Schedule: TBD (preferred overlap with client/business hours if needed)
Rate: $5 to $6/hr Commensurate with Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn) and YouTube
- Create visually appealing graphics for social media posts, marketing materials, presentations, and campaigns
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and publishing content across multiple digital platforms
- Support the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns (newsletters, promotional emails, automations, etc.)
- Collaborate on content ideas, campaign concepts, and digital growth initiatives
- Track basic campaign performance metrics and suggest improvements
- Stay updated on digital marketing and social media trends
Requirements
- Proven experience in content creation, digital marketing, or a similar role
- Strong video editing skills
- Graphic design experience (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent)
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ConvertKit, ActiveCampaign, or similar
- Good understanding of social media content trends and platform best practices
- Basic knowledge of branding, content strategy, and audience engagement
- Strong written English communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks independently
- Comfortable receiving feedback and making revisions quickly
