Estia Health is seeking a Locum Residential Aged Care Manager with extensive aged care experience, who can a make a major difference in the lives of our residents by leading our aged care home towards operational excellence!

About the Role


Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Locum Residential Aged Care Manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining high‑quality, resident‑centred care across our Queensland homes. Working across multiple locations as business needs arise, you’ll step in during periods of leave or heightened support requirements to provide confident leadership, operational stability, and clinical oversight. You’ll ensure both clinical and non‑clinical standards are maintained, support and partner with on‑site Residential Aged Care Managers, and create a positive, productive work environment that drives safe, compliant, and efficient service delivery. Known for your adaptability and people‑focused leadership style, you’ll quickly build strong relationships, coach and motivate teams, promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement, and make an immediate, meaningful impact on the wellbeing of residents, families, and staff.

You’ll be a strong business leader with commercial acumen and a generous style of management. You’ll also have:

  • A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives

  • Spent at least five years in a management role

  • A background in aged or medical care

  • Worked with a number of different systems

  • Ideally a clinical background
