  • Ensure data accuracy and timeliness by applying automated validation mechanisms as well as targeted manual quality assurance processes
  • Collaborate closely with data engineers and software developers who operate and continuously enhance the data processing environment
  • Focus on data from toll systems to support logistics planning and optimization products

Job description

Your mission

  • Work as part of a specialized data engineering team that supplies our logistics planning and optimization products with high‑quality geographic and non‑geographic data, with a focus on data from toll systems.
  • Take responsibility for collecting, analyzing, preparing, and processing large datasets using modern Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and automated, cloud‑based data processing pipelines.
  • Ensure data accuracy and timeliness by applying automated validation mechanisms as well as targeted manual quality assurance processes.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineers and software developers who operate and continuously enhance our data processing environment.

Your profile

  • University degree in a technical field (e.g., Geoinformatics, Computer Science) or equivalent vocational training such as Geomatics Technician combined with relevant practical experience.
  • Practical knowledge of QGIS, strong SQL skills, and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
  • High attention to detail and a structured, quality‑focused approach when working with data that directly influences customer‑facing products.
  • Basic understanding of road graphs and routing‑related map attributes and experience with Python is a plus.
  • Strong team orientation, open communication style, and solid proficiency in written and spoken English.
