Job description

This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.

As they continue to expand, they are looking for a motivated individual to support execution and contribute to the evolution of their social media strategy.

Fully-Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM – 5 PM EST

Role Overview

The Junior Social Media Manager will be responsible for executing social media strategies, creating engaging content, and managing day-to-day interactions across platforms. This role combines hands-on content creation, community engagement, and performance tracking, with opportunities to collaborate on influencer initiatives and support broader marketing efforts.

 

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Creation

  • Write compelling, on-brand social media copy tailored to target audiences

  • Create engaging visuals using tools like Canva, with the option to incorporate GPT for content creation

  • Support the development and execution of the content calendar, ensuring timely and relevant posts

  • Collaborate on influencer and brand content to drive organic growth

Community Engagement

  • Engage with the online community through comments, direct messages, and conversations

  • Maintain a positive and consistent brand presence across platforms

  • Respond to inquiries and foster meaningful audience interactions

  • Stay up to date with social media trends and incorporate insights into content

Influencer Marketing

  • Collaborate with influencers to create authentic, brand-aligned content

  • Leverage AI tools to support content creation while maintaining a human tone

  • Build and maintain relationships with influencers to increase brand visibility

Monitoring & Optimization

  • Track performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve engagement

  • Optimize content based on platform-specific requirements and audience behavior

  • Continuously evaluate and refine content effectiveness

Social Prospecting (Light)

  • Support social prospecting efforts through messaging outreach under sales team guidance

  • Contribute to lead generation through social channels

Qualifications

Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in social media management or related roles, with a focus on content creation and community engagement

Skills

  • Proficiency in Canva or similar design tools

  • Experience with GPT-assisted content creation

  • Ability to develop and execute content strategies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Familiarity with social media platforms and trends, including understanding of American culture

  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and eagerness to learn

  • Experience with influencer marketing and brand content is a plus
