  • Proven outbound sales experience or strong sales background
  • Willingness to obtain a Personal Lines Insurance License (training paid and license costs covered)
  • Comfortable with remote, phone-based sales and CRM systems; ability to build relationships and cross-sell

Requirements:

  • Sell auto, homeowners, and other personal lines to AAA members via phone and online; conduct outbound calls and provide personalized coverage options and premium quotes; maintain CRM records of sales activities and client interactions
  • Learn and follow carrier-specific underwriting/quoting procedures; ensure compliance with agency policies for quoting, binding coverage, and handling payments; collaborate with Underwriting and Quality Assurance to reduce risk
  • Build strong relationships with clients and industry partners; deliver AAA Five Diamond Service in every interaction; cross-sell AAA memberships and other relevant services
  • Occasionally travel for training (approximately 5%)

This position is eligible for a $1500 sign on bonus

We’re looking for motivated sales professionals, who live in RI, to join our team as Inside Sales Insurance Agents. This is a fully remote position, offering paid training and covering all costs for your Personal Lines Insurance License. If you thrive in outbound sales and want to grow in the insurance industry, this is your opportunity! 

Class Date: June 8 if unlicensed and July 13, 2026 if licensed. 

Permanent Work Schedule: 11:30am-8:00pm 4 weekdays w/ 1 weekend day (Weekdays and Weekend days may change based on business needs

Training Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm for your first 4-6 months.


What You’ll Do: 

  • Insurance Sales Responsibilities:
    • Sell auto insurance, homeowners insurance, and other personal lines products to AAA members via phone and online 
    • Conduct outbound sales calls to prospective and existing members to promote insurance products 
    • Provide personalized coverage options and premium quotes 
    • Maintain detailed records of sales activities and client interactions in our CRM system 
    • Participate in sales programs and respond promptly to referrals 
  • Regulatory & Compliance 
    • Learn and follow carrier-specific underwriting and quoting procedures 
    • Ensure compliance with agency policies for quoting, binding coverage, and handling payments 
    • Collaborate with Underwriting and Quality Assurance to reduce risks and ensure accuracy 
    • Stay current on insurance regulations and best practices 
  • Additional Responsibilities 
    • Build strong relationships with clients and industry partners 
    • Occasionally travel for training (approx. 5%) 
    • Deliver AAA Five Diamond Service in every interaction 
    • Cross-sell AAA memberships and other relevant services
