Job description

This is a remote position.

Opal is currently partnering with a top employer to find a bilingual Financial Planner (CFP, French/English) to take over a well-established book of business in Ontario. This role is designed for an experienced advisor who wants to focus on managing and growing client relationships, without the pressure of building a book from scratch.



Job Description

  • Develop comprehensive financial plans covering investments, retirement, tax strategies, estate planning, education funding, and insurance needs.
  • Meet with clients to understand their goals, assess their financial situation, and provide tailored advice.
  • Design and recommend investment strategies aligned with clients’ risk tolerance and long-term objectives.
  • Conduct regular reviews of financial plans and portfolios, adjusting for life changes, market conditions, and evolving goals.
  • Ensure all recommendations comply with applicable financial regulations and industry standards.
  • Mentor junior financial planners and advisors.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through trust, proactive communication, and ongoing support.
