About the Role

We are looking for a Microsoft 365 Cross-Tenant Collaboration Consultant to support a project-based engagement focused on enabling collaboration between separate Microsoft 365 tenants. The role will involve designing and implementing a secure, repeatable collaboration model across independent tenants while preserving each entity's separate identity provider and directory structure. The consultant will help configure Microsoft 365 and Entra capabilities to support seamless collaboration through Teams, Calendar, SharePoint, and Global Address List visibility. Strong documentation skills are required, as formal change documentation will be a mandatory deliverable for compliance and future repeatability.


Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cross-tenant Microsoft 365 collaboration between separate M365 tenants.
• Configure collaboration capabilities across Teams, Calendar/free-busy, SharePoint, and Global Address List visibility.
• Support cross-tenant access, B2B collaboration, cross-tenant synchronization, and related Entra/M365 configurations.
• Define and document the access required in each tenant, including any privileged access needs.
• Apply a least-privilege approach where possible and clearly explain any elevated access requirements.
• Produce detailed documentation of all tenant-level changes, including what was changed, where, and why.

Must-have Requirements

• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 tenant administration.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID, including cross-tenant access and B2B collaboration.
• Hands-on experience enabling collaboration across separate Microsoft 365 tenants.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams interoperability, calendar/free-busy sharing, SharePoint sharing, and address book visibility across tenants.
• Ability to work within project-based, time-sensitive engagements.
• Strong understanding of privileged access, change management, and security considerations in Microsoft 365 environments.
• Experience producing clear technical documentation for compliance, audit, and operational reuse.
• Ability to disclose the location of any resource requiring privileged tenant access for compliance pre-clearance.

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Experience with SOX-controlled environments.
• Familiarity with French or EU regulatory considerations related to tenant administration and privileged access.
• Experience creating repeatable implementation playbooks for future acquisitions or multi-tenant collaboration scenarios.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 E3/E5, Entra P2, and security add-ons.
• Familiarity with Intune or endpoint compliance environments.
