Position Title: Strategic Carrier Manager
Department: Partner Support Team
Reporting to: Sr. Manager - Strategic Carriers
Location: USA Remote, (Chicago or Dallas preferred)
This is a full-time position. Employees located in the Greater Chicagoland Area or Dallas/Frisco area are currently expected to work from the office 1 day per week; however, this is subject to change.

Purpose of the Position: The Strategic Carrier Manager role is responsible for actively participating in pre and post-sale activity for AT&T and ACC. An SCM procures pricing, generates contracts, places orders and monitors order milestones through implementation. They will ensure that each opportunity they touch fits the customer's current and future needs and adds value for AVANT to win the business. An SCM works hand in hand with our carrier support teams to ensure their tools are accurate and their processes are streamlined.
Essential Functions:
• Responsible for assisting with solution identification, procure pricing, generate contracts and place orders for respective carrier
• Collaborates with teammates, internal teams and Sr. Manager – Strategic Carriers to drive new process improvements to create efficiency and bring value to our Trusted Advisors
• Demonstrates and reinforces our team’s mission to think beyond just providing a quote and to find new ways of how to secure business
• Attends ongoing supplier meetings on a weekly basis
• Responsible for communicating product and process updates effectively across AVANT and with our Trusted Advisors
• Provides training internally for the ATT/ACC
• First tier point for carrier escalations
• Maintains all carrier specific documentations and training materials for internal teams
• Represents and promotes AVANT’s core values of integrity, honesty and mutual respect
• Minimum 10 year’s industry experience
• Proven success in consistently achieving goals set forth in their current role
• Demonstrates expertise in all product and processes within a designated carrier
• Expert in complex providers portals (pricing, orders and implementation)
• Extremely well organized with strong attention to detail
• Consistently manages workload volume while meeting and or exceeding SLAs
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven track record of proactively taking on responsibilities outside of their daily job function
• Effectively collaborates with departments outside of their organization
