As a Cabinet Vision Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for custom cabinetry projects using Cabinet Vision software. This role requires a strong understanding of woodworking techniques, proficiency in CAD, and the ability to interpret design specifications accurately.
What You'll Do
Utilize Cabinet Vision software to create accurate 3D models and shop drawings for custom cabinetry projects.
Collaborate with designers, architects, and clients to understand project requirements and translate design concepts into technical drawings.
Generate cut lists, material lists, and CNC machine files from Cabinet Vision drawings to facilitate the manufacturing process.
Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and client specifications.
Incorporate changes and revisions to drawings based on feedback from clients and project stakeholders.
Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure seamless communication and implementation of design plans.
Review and verify dimensions, materials, and hardware specifications for accuracy and feasibility.

Excellent understanding of cabinetmaking, joinery, and construction methods

Strong knowledge of materials, hardware, and finishes
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Trade qualification in cabinetmaking/joinery or 3+ years experience in drafting/setting out
