Mpathic is hiring Member Development Representatives (MDRs) working in a team environment to drive acquisition of new partnerships for our customer, Communio. Communio partners with church communities to uncover the marriage and relationship health of their members and community through first-party survey and data insights tools. Communio then build a Data-Informed, Full-Circle Relationship Ministry® to strengthen the relationship health of their church and evangelize their community through the renewal of marriage and family life. 


POSITION OVERVIEW/CORE TASKS:

Key Responsibilities 

  • Build relationships with target church communities that allow them to learn initial value of Communio. 
  • Set appointments for Communio team members to speak with qualified decision makers. 
  • Provide ongoing care for member congregations 
  • Consistent, clear, and thorough documentation of all sales motions. 
  • Follow through on all leads until sales is closed or reason for not continuing is properly identified. 
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales goals. 
  • Follow coaching from manager to show consistent improvement in identified areas of opportunity. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Understanding and preferably experience working “on the ground” in ministry. 
  • Ability to quickly assess the need presented by the sales lead. 
  • Ability to identify decision makers in an external organization 
  • Demonstrably superb verbal and written communication skills. 
  • A habit of empathy, placing the needs of prospective members above other considerations. 
  • Professional or substantial volunteer experience in Church ministry strongly preferred 
  • B2B Sales experience preferred, though not required. 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work on a close-knit team and autonomously. 
  • Professional, courteous, and generous work attitude with a desire and ability to learn. 
  • Ability to identify solutions based on established processes and procedures. 
  • Meticulous habits in logging sales interactions via established business processes and tools.
  • Effectively drive and manage progress through sales development stages  

  • Experience working with Office365 applications. 
  • Experience working with CRMs and Contact Center platforms preferred. 
  • Dedicated space to work from, with minimal background noise during calls and online meetings.
  • High speed internet connection (with reliable Wi-Fi if applicable) and a late model computer. 
  • Must clear all required background checks. 
  • Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to legally work in the United States.  

This is a fully remote position; candidates must reside and work within the continental United States.


Salary Description 

Shifts available: Monday-Friday Daytime Hours by Time Zone.

Starting Pay is $21 / hour
