Position Overview
This role will serve as a business functional consultant to drive the business requirements and functional design for the PeopleSoft Financial module (FSCM). This position will be responsible for collaborating with the customer to define functional requirements and develop a PeopleSoft FSCM design.
This position is subject to contract award.
Major Activities (Typical Duties/Responsibilities)
- Functional experience with financial processes and accounting procedures including general ledger, project costing, cash management, AP&AR, and billing.
- Establish clear communication and coordination among stakeholders, developers, and teams to drive change. Provide regular updates and checkpoints to ensure alignment and smooth implementation of new opportunities and process adaptations.
- Lead the effort to translate business requirements into a PeopleSoft implementation plan and oversee the implementation of that plan, collaborating with the technical team.
- Provide technical guidance and support across the project team.
- Maintain data security protocols and ensure data privacy and compliance with policy and regulation for this project.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager on schedule and resources.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Working knowledge of processes and procedures around SOX processes and audits.
- In-depth understanding of financial processes and principles.
- Able to analyze client’s needs, and design solutions to solve the defined problem. Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness.
- Provide experienced leadership and technical direction.
- A thought leader who recommends operational strategies and plans with direct impact on results.

- Expertise with PeopleSoft version 9.2 and higher.
- Experience and understanding of financial data and data mapping
- Ability to communicate, and lead requirements gathering sessions in a multi-customer environment.
- Experience with ERP implementations and deployments.
- Good interpersonal skills: ability to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff, affiliated-company employees as well as outside business associates; exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others.
- Work independently, as well as on a team and with minimal supervision.
- Make decisions, solve problems, and exercise excellent judgment.
- Work well under pressure and independently prioritize workload, while working on multiple projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; including thorough knowledge of proper grammar, advanced vocabulary, spelling, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and industry-standard computer software and databases.
- High degree of sensitivity regarding confidential information.
Physical Abilities
- Sufficient fine motor skills for the use of computers with the ability to withstand repetitive keyboarding for extended periods of time.
- Visual and communications ability are adequate to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Ability to kneel, bend and twist at the waist on an occasional basis.
- Ability to reach below shoulder height with regular frequency (desk position) and at or above shoulder height on occasion.
- Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis, and greater weights on an occasional basis.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or IT related field and 5+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education training and experience
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications
- 10 years' experience with PeopleSoft FSCM.
- 8+ Years of IT Service or Consulting experience
Pay Range: $99,873.00-$164,534.00/ yearly
