As our Senior Data Engineer, you will be a cornerstone of the Content and Data team, driving the evolution of our AI-powered matching algorithm. In an ecosystem that ingests over 10,000 new job listings daily, your work will directly impact how talent connects with flexibility globally.
We aren't just looking for a developer; we need a technical architect ready to:
Architect & Build: Design and deploy scalable, high-performance data architectures that bridge relational and non-relational systems.
Optimize Workflows: Audit and refine existing data flows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and system flexibility.
Master the Pipeline: Lead the end-to-end management of data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration from ingestion (scrapers) to downstream AI/ML consumption.
Operational Excellence: Provide hands-on support for production environments, ensuring that our scrapers and ML workflows run with maximum reliability.
Collaborate & Document: Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical blueprints, maintaining clear and thorough documentation.
We are seeking a seasoned engineer with a "builder" mindset and a deep understanding of how robust data infrastructure fuels a global platform.
Academic Foundation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Proven Track Record: At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, specifically building and managing large-scale pipelines.
Python Mastery: 5+ years of professional experience developing complex solutions with Python.
Data Modeling Expertise: Advanced skills in schema design, data modeling, and modern data warehousing concepts.
Database Proficiency: Deep experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL environments, specifically MongoDB.
Cloud & Big Data: Professional experience with AWS and hands-on exposure to frameworks like Spark, Kafka, or Hadoop.
Language Skills: Full professional fluency in both English and Spanish.
ML Deployment: Hands-on experience moving Machine Learning models into production environments (MLOps).
DevOps Culture: Familiarity with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
Data Integrity: Solid understanding of data security best practices and privacy regulations.
Strategic Communication: Ability to articulate complex technical architectures to stakeholders across the organization.
