Your role in our team
As our new Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in developing advanced electronics for space applications. You will work with complex PCB designs in a highly demanding environment and contribute to solutions that must perform flawlessly under extreme conditions.
You will collaborate closely with R&D engineers and be an important link between design and production, ensuring that technical requirements are translated into robust, high-quality solutions. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to shape and strengthen our PCB layout practices and standards within the space segment.
You will join our Space Systems department, consisting of 50+ colleagues working with advanced electronics for space applications. The team is characterized by a strong focus on quality across design, testing, and documentation, reflecting the high demands of the industry. The working environment is open and collaborative, with a strong emphasis on knowledge sharing and teamwork.
How you will make a meaningful contribution
Your key responsibilities include:

- Create, develop and finish PCB layouts for advanced space electronics
- Become a layout expert within the space segment and ECSS standards
- Own and maintain our space specific ECAD Cadence environment
- Create and maintain pad stacks, footprint and symbols libraries
- Own and maintain our CIS (component information system) database
- Support the R&D engineers by creating production documentation, BOMs etc.
Bring your world class expertise into play
You are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement. Moreover, we are also looking for a new colleague with the following qualifications:

- You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
- Several years of experience in professional PCB layout, creating, developing and reviewing complex designs in any environment.
- Strong knowledge of electronics, preferably power electronics.
- Knowledgeable about electronics production methods.
- Strong IT skills
- Knowledge of relational databases, preferably in MS Access is a plus but not a requirement
- Knowledge of the Cadence environment is a plus but not a requirement
As a person, you are driven by a strong commitment to quality and take a structured, methodical approach to your work, always with a keen eye for detail. You have a genuine passion for electronics - particularly PCB layout - and enjoy working with complex technical challenges.
You are comfortable diving deep into standards and documentation, while still maintaining a clear overview and understanding of the bigger picture. At the same time, you are self-driven and take ownership of your tasks, ensuring steady progress and seeing things through to completion.
