ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Digital PR Lead plays a strategic role in expanding a brand’s awareness and shaping its online reputation with the public. The Lead should have experience working with the media, establishing mutually beneficial relationships, and be able to develop and execute on a promotional strategy across various channels. The Lead will work closely with account team members from Search, Paid, and Content to achieve a shared goal. The keys to success are in the role are being strategic, persistent, friendly, agile, and focused on bring the best results.

This role is available due to an internal transition, offering a great opportunity for a new team member to join and make an impact. To qualify, candidates must reside and be eligible to work in the US.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to Sr. Manager, Digital PR, the Digital PR Lead will serve as the main client contact for 5-7 enterprise-level accounts, and will be responsible for overall success of the client engagement with regards to digital PR strategy and execution.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop integrated promotional strategies using various channels to gain search and GEO visibility.
  • Research publishers and journalists & build and nurture relationships with key media contacts.
  • Develop pitch angles and write and send pitch emails.
  • Correspond with journalists to see through successful media placements.
  • Earn unpaid media coverage.
  • Negotiate and see through pay-to-play blogger and influencer collaborations.
  • Ideate content topics and content promotional plans.
  • Manage multiple deliverables, deadlines, and needs from the client and partners.
  • Bring new ideas, approaches, and tactics to client work and the team.
  • Exhibit broad understanding of the digital market, leading trends and changes, and the overall online business climate.
  • Understand our different client objectives and how a Digital PR program can work within the account team objectives.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance using platform analytics and third-party tools such as SEMrush, Writesonic, Sprout Social, Meltwater, and Rival IQ
  • Coach Specialists/Interns on Digital PR tasks and initiatives.
  • Client facing and ability to articulate all the parts of a Digital PR strategy and how it supports larger client/campaign initiatives.

ABOUT YOU

  • 3-5 years of experience in PR, Communications, or Digital Marketing.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is PR, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven success earning coverage from the media.
  • Experience researching and completing blogger and influencer partnerships.
  • Understanding of paid social media best practices.
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized with strong time-management skills.
  • Understanding of Google Analytics basics.
  • Strong understanding of SEO & GEO best practices and connecting DPR efforts back to overall SEO performance.

ABOUT THE COMPENSATION

  • Base Salary: USD $80,000.00 to $95,000.00; depending on experience and skills
  • Discretionary annual bonus: Up to 10% of annual salary
