Corporate Finance Senior Analyst (M&A)
The Opportunity
We are partnering with a fast-growing boutique advisory firm specialising in board advisory,
fundraising, and buy- and sell-side M&A. The firm operates across the marketing services
and technology sectors, supporting ambitious, founder-led businesses through growth,
capital raises, and strategic exits.
They are now looking to hire an Associate based in South Africa, offering a unique
opportunity to work on UK and international transactions within a highly entrepreneurial
environment. This role provides significant exposure to senior stakeholders and a clear
pathway for progression within a growing M&A team.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
● Project manage multi-party M&A transactions
● Work closely with senior stakeholders leading engagements
● Deliver high-quality financial analysis
● Prepare teasers, information memoranda, and other deal materials
● Support evaluation of offers and transaction processes
● Build and maintain financial models
● Conduct valuations and support due diligence processes
Secondary Responsibilities
● Support business development initiatives
● Liaise with external advisors (legal, tax, and other partners)
Candidate Profile
● Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent, e.g. SAICA)
● Experience in corporate finance, M&A, or transaction services
● Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
● Proven ability to manage deadlines and multiple workstreams
● Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable working in a lean, high-growth environment
● Exposure to marketing services or technology sectors is beneficial but not essential
Location & Compensation
● South Africa-based (remote working)
● Salary: R40,000 – R50,000 per month, depending on experience
