About the Company

Our client is a professional maintenance and repair company primarily serving the Goodyear, Arizona area, with recent expansions into Jacksonville, Florida. They are a licensed and bonded business that has operated for over 17 years, focusing on residential and commercial pool care.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Billing & Operations Specialist with strong experience in QuickBooks, invoicing workflows, and service-based businesses. This role is central to ensuring all services, repairs, and treatments are accurately quoted, billed, and recorded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee QuickBooks reconciliations and month-end close
  • Generate, issue, and track quotes and invoices using Skimmer (or similar tools)
  • Maintain accurate data sync between service platforms and QuickBooks
  • Manage accounts receivable, including chasing overdue and failed payments
  • Ensure clean, accurate financial records and resolve any discrepancies
  • Create, document, and improve SOPs for billing and operational processes
  • Provide general administrative and operational support across the business
  • Work closely with field and ops teams to ensure accurate job costing and billing

Requirements

  • Proven experience with QuickBooks (reconciliation and month-end close required)
  • Experience working in field service industries (pool service, HVAC, plumbing, etc.)
  • Familiarity with service management platforms such as Skimmer, Jobber, or Housecall Pro
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new tools and systems
  • Experience creating and implementing SOPs and process improvements
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
