If you're excited to join an established, growing Fractional CFO firm, then this role could be for you! Ascent CFO Solutions is looking for a top-notch Recruiting Director to join our team!
This is a sole contributor recruiting role — you will be the only recruiter at the company and will not have direct reports. You will play a critical part in building our team from the inside out, hiring fractional financial professionals for our internal team as well as sourcing interim talent to serve our clients. This role will also sit on the internal leadership team, helping drive impactful decisions forward.
Responsibilities for Recruiter:
• Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline
• Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings
• Take ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements
• Lead recruitment efforts for internal fractional financial professionals joining the Ascent CFO Solutions team from the Senior Accountant level all the way up to CFO
• Source and place external interim financial professionals to support client engagements
• Perform reference checks
• Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices, including AI
• Manage the overall interview, selection, closing and offer letter process
• Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
• Be familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues
• Collaborate with the Leadership Team, including weekly leadership meetings
Qualifications for Recruiter:
• Must have Accounting & Finance recruiting experience
• Agency Recruiting experience strongly preferred
• 5+ years of recruiting experience
• Effective communicator
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and consistently juggle multiple tasks at once
• Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Comfortable making decisions independently
• Working knowledge of applicant tracking (ATS) and HRIS systems
• Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
• Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
• Understanding of employment laws and regulations
• Able to make decisions based on ambiguous/incomplete information
• Great follow up skills
• Experience managing a funnel or pipeline
