Purchasing Specialist

This is a remote position.

SUMMARY

The Purchasing Specialist supports day‑to‑day procurement and order management activities, ensuring timely processing of orders and coordination with internal stakeholders. The role is fast‑paced and process‑driven, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, communication, and follow‑through.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process and manage purchase orders throughout the day
  
• Track order status, delivery timelines, and receipt of goods
  
• Coordinate with engagement managers, sales, and project managers on order timing and availability
  
• Communicate with distributors and vendors regarding pricing, availability, and fulfillment
  
• Follow documented procurement SOPs while handling occasional exceptions
  
• Support periodic purchasing‑related projects and process updates
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as Purchasing Specialist.
  
• ConnectWise CPQ (strong plus)
  
• Experience with distributors such as Ingram Micro
  
• MSP environment experience is a plus but not required
  
• Basic Excel knowledge preferred (no advanced formulas required)

• Ability to work independently after initial ramp‑up
  
• Comfortable working in a high‑volume, fast‑moving environment
  

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Should be willing to accept a long-term work-from-home arrangement.
  
• Should be amenable to a permanent night shift schedule.
