HVAC Sales Engineer

Job description

We are looking for a high-energy Sales Engineer to manage our Central Region (Selangor/KL) market. This is a 100% remote (WFH) role designed for a technical professional who excels at autonomy and possesses the "hunter" mentality needed to expand our footprint in Malaysia’s industrial heartland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Market Expansion: Identify and secure new business opportunities within the HVAC, manufacturing, and food processing sectors across the Central Region.

  • Technical Advisory: Provide expert consultation to engineers and contractors, ensuring our motors, blowers, and mechanical drive components are correctly specified for their projects.

  • Account Management: Nurture high-value relationships with existing industrial end-users and distributors.

  • Solution Selling: Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations that highlight energy efficiency and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) benefits.

  • Territory Management: Work independently to manage your pipeline, from initial lead generation to closing and after-sales support.



Requirements

  • Background: A Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

  • Experience: 3–5 years in industrial technical sales. Experience with ACMV/HVAC systems, power transmission, or rotating equipment is a significant advantage.

  • Network: An existing network of contacts among M&E contractors, OEMs, or industrial distributors in Selangor and KL.

  • WFH Readiness: Proven ability to stay disciplined and productive in a fully remote environment.

  • Communication: Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. The ability to speak Mandarin is a plus for communicating with specific client segments.

  • Mobility: Possession of a valid driver’s license and own vehicle for frequent travel within the territory.
