Job Title: Sales Representative
Hours: US Hours (9am-5pm EST)
Work Type: Full-Time, Remote, South Africa
Salary: Paid in South African Rand (ZAR)
Overview:
We are looking for a results-driven Sales Representative with proven 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) experience to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who understands the logistics and supply chain space and can confidently engage with clients, identify opportunities, and close deals.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving revenue growth by building relationships, generating new business, and offering tailored logistics solutions to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Sales
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the 3PL and logistics space
- Generate leads through outbound prospecting, networking, and referrals
- Conduct discovery calls to understand client supply chain and logistics needs
- Present tailored 3PL solutions and service offerings
- Negotiate terms and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Act as the primary point of contact throughout the sales process
- Provide ongoing support and account management post-sale where required
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention
- Market Knowledge & Strategy
- Stay up to date with industry trends in logistics, freight, warehousing, and distribution
- Identify opportunities to expand service offerings within existing accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams to align solutions with client needs
- Reporting & CRM Management
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in CRM systems
- Track pipeline, forecasts, and sales performance metrics
- Provide regular updates and reports to management
Requirements
- Proven experience in 3PL / logistics sales (non-negotiable)
- Strong understanding of supply chain, warehousing, and freight services
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales
