Engagement: Independent Contractor

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach to generate new business opportunities.
  • Identify and qualify commercial insurance prospects, including small to mid-sized businesses.
  • Book discovery meetings and appointments for senior insurance advisors and account executives.
  • Research target companies and decision-makers to personalize outreach efforts.
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions within the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to refine messaging and outreach strategies.
  • Consistently meet or exceed lead generation and meeting booking targets.
  • Follow up with prospects and nurture leads through the early stages of the sales funnel.

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or outbound sales.
  • Experience with cold calling, prospecting, and lead generation.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar systems.
  • Ability to engage with business decision-makers and executives.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
  • Prior experience in Commercial Insurance is Required.
