Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Accountant with prior experience in the UAE to support daily accounting operations, VAT compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, organized, and comfortable working with accounting software while maintaining strict compliance with UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple client accounts
• Perform account reconciliations, including bank and ledger reconciliations
• Prepare and assist with UAE VAT filings and compliance requirements
• Generate financial reports and maintain supporting documentation
• Assist with audit preparation and internal financial reviews
• Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, and relevant authorities when required
• Ensure financial data accuracy and compliance with UAE accounting standards

Requirements

• 2+ years of accounting experience in the UAE
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations and compliance
• Experience using accounting software such as Zoho Books, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Good organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong communication skills and professional work ethic
