Job Role: Sourcing Specialist

Compensation range: $1,600-1,800 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Employee of Records

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Role Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Sourcing Specialist to support our legal recruitment efforts. This role involves sourcing qualified candidates, supporting consultants, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the recruitment function. The ideal candidate will have experience in legal recruitment processes, strong administrative skills, and a focus on long-term, stable support.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct legal candidate resourcing and headhunting across multiple channels.
  • Perform advanced LinkedIn sourcing beyond basic keyword searches.
  • Understand legal-specific data points, such as admissions dates and professional credentials.
  • Support consultants by providing qualified candidate profiles.
  • Assist with administrative tasks to ensure smooth recruitment operations.
  • Contribute consistently to the recruitment function with a focus on long-term, reliable support.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment sourcing, preferably with exposure to legal recruitment.
  • Strong proficiency in LinkedIn and other candidate sourcing platforms.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word, Teams and Excel)
  • Familiarity with legal industry terminology and qualifications.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and administrative skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain high attention to detail.

Work Arrangement & Expectations:

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
