Your role in our team
As our new Digital Manufacturing Engineer, are you responsible for the operational implementation, configuration, and support of digital manufacturing solutions used in production. The role focuses on executing and maintaining the operational aspects of digital systems supporting manufacturing processes.
In your daily work, you will ensure reliable operation of digital manufacturing systems such as RFID and AGV solutions. You will implement and configure digital tools directly in the production environment and contribute to maintaining well-structured system environments and high-quality data that support our production processes. You will work closely with the shop floor, providing hands-on support and ensuring that digital solutions function reliably in daily operations.
You will become part of our Digital Manufacturing team, which is responsible for programming and supporting the factory’s NC-controlled processes and digital production systems. In this role, you will focus on the operational side, helping to implement and maintain digital solutions in close collaboration with Manufacturing Technology.
How you will make a meaningful contribution
Your key responsibilities include:
Operation of Digital Manufacturing Systems

- Operate, maintain, and support digital manufacturing systems used in production, including RFID and AGV solutions.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Ensure stable and reliable operation of digital production flows.
Implementation of Digital Solutions

- Execute the implementation of digital manufacturing solutions defined by Manufacturing Technology.
- Configure systems, establish folder and data structures, and manage data transfers.
- Support identification and configuration of relevant software applications and tools.
System and Data Administration

- Maintain structured and consistent data and documentation related to digital manufacturing systems.
- Ensure correct configuration and maintenance of digital system environments supporting production.
- Verify system usage and error causes and develop analysis tools to assist these verifications.
Production Support

- Provide technical support to production related to digital manufacturing systems.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Technology, IT, and production teams to ensure effective system usage and continuous improvement.
Bring your world class expertise into play
You are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement. Moreover, we are also looking for a new colleague with the following qualifications:

- You hold a Bachelor’s/master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Production Engineering, Automation Engineering or similar
- Ideally, you have minimum 3-8 years of relevant experience working with both production systems, automation solutions, or system integration in industrial environments. Moreover, you have experience working in manufacturing environments with automated production equipment.
- Solid system understanding and ability to work across multiple digital tools and systems.
- Experienced in programming e.g. Python, SQL
- Experience with industrial automation, production data systems, RFID, AGV, MES, or similar technologies.

You have a strong attention to detail and enjoy working hands-on with technical solutions, turning challenges into practical results.
