This is a remote position.
This is a full-time contract position offering a daily rate. We are looking for an experienced professional to drive the strategy and delivery of core DevOps products within a large-scale enterprise platform. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between high-level stakeholder needs and technical execution, ensuring the development team delivers maximum value through a well-defined and prioritised backlog.
English is the only language requirement. Only occasional onsite visits to Germany.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders to align project goals and ensure transparency across the programme.
Specification & Backlog Management: Gather insights from across the product flow to translate complex needs into clear specifications, features, and user stories.
Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product strategy and scope of work, ensuring alignment with architectural principles and technical guidelines.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with system architects and other product lines to integrate CI/CD and registry tools seamlessly into the wider platform.
Proactive Prioritisation: Evaluate customer needs against engineering complexity to make informed decisions on backlog items, balancing feasibility with stakeholder expectations.
Development Life Cycle Oversight: Manage the end-to-end development cycle by consulting with internal teams and translating requirements into actionable engineering tasks.
Extensive experience as a Product Owner within complex, scalable platform environments.
Proven ability to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and manage a robust product backlog.
Strong background in agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe.
Technical proficiency with DevOps practices, the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and CI/CD tools.
Experience with Registry and Artifactory management solutions.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to facilitate technical alignment across diverse teams.
Proficiency in documentation and project management software (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
A fundamental understanding of Kubernetes, IAM, and observability tools is preferred.
Experience with UI-driven developer portals or mission-critical systems is a plus.
Fluent English in speech and writing.
Eligibility Residency in the EU, EEC, UK, or Switzerland.
