  • Design data validation rules, monitor data quality, and design/deploy Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams; provide status updates, manage change requests, and develop SOPs, user manuals, and test plans

The Product Owner - Channel Data Management will assist in the strategy, development, and execution of channel data management processes for our channel partners. The ideal candidate will have experience in channel management systems, data governance, and analytics, focusing on providing accurate, timely, and actionable data to drive decision-making and improve channel performance. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, IT, marketing, and business operations.

Responsibilities
  • Support the development and execution of IT systems and processes for collecting, managing, and analyzing channel partner data.

  • Collaborate with Model N professional services, sales, marketing, and other business units to implement & Support Model N Channel Management & Channel Data Management modules.

  • Assist in translating business requirements into functional specifications for Model N.

  • Help configure Model N Channel Management modules (e.g., POS, Channel Inventory, Ship & Debit Claims, Price Protection).

  • Work on custom development when necessary.

  • Document end-to-end business processes involving distributors, partners, and internal teams.

  • Ensure process alignment with Model N’s capabilities.

  • Support integration of Model N with ERP (Oracle Fusion), CRM (Salesforce), and other partner systems.

  • Ensure seamless data flow (e.g., sales data, inventory, pricing).

  • Monitor data accuracy for channel transactions (POS, inventory, claims).

  • Design data validation rules and monitor data quality.

  • Assist in developing and executing test plans (unit, system, UAT).

  • Validate that solutions meet business requirements and Model N standards.

  • Create detailed SOP’s, user manuals, process flows, and support documentation.

  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams.

  • Provide regular status updates, resolve issues, and manage change requests.

  • Identify areas for process or system enhancement.

  • Stay updated with Model N releases and recommend upgrades or new functionalities.

  • Collaborate with business users to understand their analytical needs and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Design, develop, and deploy high-performance dashboards and reports in Power BI based on business requirements.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in channel data management (Model N).

  • Experience with other systems like Salesforce, Oracle ERP, or similar tools.

  • Experience with channel management system processes in the semiconductor industry.

  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality management, and data integration practices.

  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data issues effectively.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively share data-driven insights with both technical and non-technical

    audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.

  • Understanding of semiconductor industry processes and business requirements.

  • Mergers and Acquisitions knowledge.
