Responsibilities

  • Collect and develop content for web, newsletters, press packages, and enrollment materials; coordinate outsourced resources and ensure timely media communications for institutional projects, industry relations, and products.
  • Support corporate-level PR and media relations by developing relationships with national, regional, and international press; organize press events locally and internationally; protect and promote the company's brand in a coordinated manner.
  • Assist in organizing fashion shows, degree shows, talent shows, and other year-end events; provide materials and media relations support for local schools; contribute to internal communications and maintain a portfolio of prestigious contacts with press and luxury brands.

Communication and PR Assistant

Job summary

Under the supervision of the Communication and PR Manager / Coordinator / Specialist, the Communication and PR Assistant supports and works on communications, PR, manage events,  media and materials to effectively represent the company's products and services to customers and prospects. Support all the marketing and communication activities according to the agreed strategy. The role consist in supporting communications PR, Media Relations and managing Events with clear objectives in terms of quality, visibility, social presence, brand image alignment, branding at Worldwide level.

Key purpose of the role

  • Collect and develop contents for the different communication channels (web, newsletter, press packages, enrollment). Coordinate the activities of outsourced resources. Assure the proper communication on media regarding Institutional Projects, Industry Relations, academic activities and products in order to enhance the brand awareness on national and international level.

  • Support marketing oriented activities in order to support the Enrollment activities.

  • Support the PR & Media relations activities at corporate level, developing direct relationships with national, regional and international press contacts to ensure the school reputation

  • Support the PR and media relation activities ensuring the company protects are deployed and promoted in a proper, coordinated and consistent manner

  • Support and oversee press events also at local level

  • Contribute to manage the flow information about the organization to the media

  • Gather and disseminate timely information to the staff through the new innovative and effective internal communication tools

  • Help the Chief Alumni, Industry Liaison and Career Advice unit and the Business Development team at local level, to build a “portfolio” of prestigious contacts and celebrities, either with press and luxury brands, to allow the company to reinforce its link with the industry arena.

  • Support the composition and editing of corporate press releases, company literature, articles for internal and external use and Q&A and press kits

  • Support the organization, plan and be responsible for the success of the fashion shows, degree shows, talent shows in all the schools around the world.

  • Support the local schools with materials, information and media relations for all year ends events, but the fashion shows (and including the degree show, talent shows, business conferences, parties, graduation ceremony and academic year opening)

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Degree in Communication or Communication Design, Marketing, Advertising.

Work experience

  • Minimum of 4/5 years in a Communication or Event organization role; experience in a international and multi-cultural environment.

Soft skills

  • Ability to multitasking, highly motivated and positive attitude. Able to work under deadline pressure. Proactivity and flexibility.

IT skills

  • Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Adobe Suite.

Languages (incl. Level required)

  • Fluent English.
