  • Marketing: support Trimble’s presence at shows; tailor product information to regional needs; gather and report market feedback and competitive insights
  • Training: develop the technical skills of distribution partners on Trimble products and Precision Agriculture technologies with the training team
  • Engineering: participate in the Advanced Release Program for the launch of new products (validation/testing with Trimble partners and end-customers)

Job description

Trimble is recruiting for a Sales Engineer (m/f/d) to join the team.

Do you have a good understanding of farming machinery and strong technical skills regarding hydraulic, electricity, mechanic, Isobus and GNSS? If yes, then this could be a great opportunity for you to join.

Location: Remote in Poland, Czechia, Slovakia or Hungary

Job Summary:

The Sales Engineer is putting efforts on developing the business in the region using his technical skills and his knowledge on the Trimble Ag solutions and the market. He is working on technical process optimization, product training, shows and events and centralizing market feedback in order to offer our customers the best user experience.

His missions are coordinated with the European sales organization. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Sales Engineer will focus on the east of the region (PL, CZ, SK and HU mainly), completing a team of 3 sales engineers.

Primary Responsibilities:

Presales support:

  • Coordination and liaison between Trimble and its commercial partners and customers on the technical aspects of the product portfolio.

  • Technical point of contact for OEMs and Enterprise accounts in the region.

  • Supporting Trimble partners for demonstration or special project validation

Marketing:

  • Support Trimble’s presence on shows

  • Adapt and tailor product information to meet the regional/local specific needs.

  • Gather and report market feedback and products/features needs to Trimble organization.

  • Provide input on competitive products and activities.

Training:

  • Develop the technical skills of our distribution partners on Trimble products and on the different technologies applying to Precision Agriculture together with our training team

  • Engineering: participates in Advanced Release Program for the launch of new products (validation/testing with Trimble partners and end-customers)

 

Required competencies:

  • Good understanding of farming machinery and practices

  • Strong technical skills (hydraulic, electricity, mechanic, Isobus, GNSS…)

  • Speak fluent English

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Confident to voice ideas.

  • Organized and accurate.

  • Teamplayer who will enjoy working in a multinational environment.

  • Travels approx 50% of time.

  • 2-3 years minimum of experience in the Ag machinery sector
