Job description

Ready to make a tangible impact on global industries using cutting-edge technology? Trimble is looking for a passionate problem-solver like you to help us transform the way the world works! Within the Document Crunch team, the quality of our AI is the product — and we're looking for someone to own how we prove and improve it.

About Us

Trimble is a global technology company that connects the physical and digital worlds, transforming the ways work gets done. With relentless innovation in precise positioning, modeling and data analytics, Trimble enables essential industries including construction, geospatial and transportation. Whether it's helping customers build and maintain infrastructure, design and construct buildings, optimize global supply chains or map the world, Trimble is at the forefront, driving productivity and progress.

About Document Crunch

Document Crunch is a premier AI-powered risk intelligence platform for the construction industry. By simplifying complex construction documents, Document Crunch empowers project teams to understand and manage their risks with confidence. As part of the Trimble ecosystem, this technology serves as "intelligent DNA," accelerating AI adoption to create a future of zero project disputes and increased transparency across the AECO industry.

What Makes This Role Great

We are seeking a Sr. Product Manager to lead a major area of our AI risk management product end-to-end and shape where the business goes next. You’ll identify entirely new market opportunities — new products and new segments — set strategy under high ambiguity, and drive measurable outcomes for customers and the business. This role is accountable not just for the roadmap, but for customer value, behavior change, and durable market differentiation.

As one of our most senior individual contributors, you’ll be a primary driver of company-level priority decisions and help shape our overall product vision, even amid significant contention. You’ll be sought out as an expert internally and by customers, set the standard for discovery and product craft across teams, and mentor senior PMs — helping them grow toward staff-level impact. You’ll achieve all of this by partnering deeply with Engineering, Design, Customer Success, and go-to-market teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set product strategy and vision: define outcomes and the roadmap for a major product area, aligning to customer needs and company goals, and help shape the overall company product vision even under high ambiguity and contention.

  • Identify new market opportunities: use deep customer insight and a command of the domain to shape innovative pitches around entirely new products and segments, not just incremental improvements.

  • Drive company-level prioritization: serve as a primary driver of priority decisions across the organization, building buy-in with clear, data-driven analysis of trade-offs.

  • Advance the craft and strengthen the team: set the standard for discovery, prioritization, and delivery across teams; actively mentor senior and lead PMs and help them grow toward Staff-level impact.

  • Build a customer-centric operating cadence: ensure discovery is continuous and deep, using research, data, and direct customer engagement to identify and validate opportunities.

  • Own AI product quality: define AI use cases, evaluation criteria, and guardrails; ensure reliability, traceability, and trust in AI-powered workflows.

  • Drive cross-functional execution: partner with Engineering and Design counterparts across the full lifecycle to ship high-quality solutions and achieve desired customer outcomes.

  • Partner with product marketing and GTM leaders: ensure launches, enablement, and positioning translate into product adoption and deeper customer relationships.

  • Represent the product externally: build trusted relationships with strategic customers, advocate for their needs while advancing our product direction, and support and grow strategic partnerships.

Essential Skills & Experience

These are the primary skills we’re looking for to drive success in this role.

  • Typically 8+ years of product management experience building leading B2B SaaS solutions

  • Proven ability to define strategy, translate it into an executable roadmap, and deliver outcomes at scale (adoption, retention, expansion, efficiency)

  • Track record of shaping product direction at the company level and influencing senior stakeholders under ambiguity

  • Experience partnering closely with Engineering and Design throughout the full lifecycle, from strategic definition through execution

  • Strong fluency in AI-powered product development (agent harnesses, evals, guardrails, iteration loops)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to align senior leaders with clarity and data

  • Experience mentoring senior product talent and raising the bar for product craft across a team

  • High agency and comfort operating in an early-stage environment where velocity and focus are competitive advantages

  • Bonus: construction domain experience (GC, subcontractor, owner, legal/risk), contract/spec workflows, or construction tech

Location: Atlanta, GA Area (Hybrid)
