Roles & Responsibilities

  • Strong hands-on experience with HPE NonStop database administration (SQL/MP and SQL/MX).
  • Experience implementing and maintaining Oracle GoldenGate replication across NonStop environments.
  • Proven track record in incident, change, problem management and RCAs, with ability to coordinate production maintenance windows.
  • Proficiency in performance tuning, query design for SQL/MP and SQL/MX, and resolving locking conflicts, latch contention, and rollback requirements.

Requirements:

  • Perform NonStop database administration tasks including installation, maintenance, planning, monitoring, reorgs, connectivity, refresh, and performance tuning for SQL/MP and SQL/MX databases.
  • Design and optimize SQL/MP and SQL/MX queries and provide application team assistance to improve query performance.
  • Implement and monitor Oracle GoldenGate replication across the NonStop environment; handle incidents, changes, problems and RCAs, and provide on-call support.
  • Coordinate production maintenance windows, strengthen database security, resolve locking conflicts and latch contention, and maintain DBA procedure documentation.

Location: 100% Remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in India)

NonStop Database Admin:

Perform NonStop Database Admin tasks that may include, but not limited to support activities such as the following: Database Product Installation, Maintenance, Planning, Monitoring, Reorgs, Connectivity, Refresh, Performance Tuning, NonStop SQL/MP Database management, App team assistance on SQL/MP Query design for efficient query performance, Perform Oracle GoldenGate Replication Implementation, Monitoring and Support across the NonStop environment, work Incidents, Changes, Problems/RCAs as required, Provide on call Support.
