Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% Remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in Canada, Costa Rica, Brazil OR Mexico)

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team in a backfill capacity due to a recent departure. This role will support critical infrastructure and emerging AI platform initiatives, with a strong focus on hands-on engineering and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure in AWS
• Support internal AI platform initiatives and data engineering projects
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Develop and maintain automation, CI/CD pipelines, and self-healing systems
• Collaborate with engineering teams on platform reliability and performance
• Support data workflows including ETL processes and managed Airflow environments
• Work in a highly technical, heads-down capacity (minimal business-facing interaction)

Required Technical Skills

Cloud & Infrastructure

Strong experience with AWS core services:

• • EC2
  • VPC
  • S3

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform required)

AI / Emerging Technologies

Experience with AWS AI services such as:

• • Bedrock
  • Agent Core
  • Neptune

Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude)

Programming

Proficiency in:

• • Python (highly preferred)
  • Golang
  • Node.js (nice to have)

DevOps Practices

• CI/CD pipeline development and automation
• Cloud monitoring, reliability, and self-healing systems
• Strong understanding of modern DevOps and platform engineering practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting AI/ML platforms or data engineering environments
• Familiarity with ETL pipelines and managed Airflow
• Ability to work effectively in a distributed/remote team environment
• Strong problem-solving and independent execution skills

Team & Reporting Structure

• Reports into Engineering leadership (recently realigned under Radica)
• Works closely with DevOps team members and engineering stakeholders
• Collaborative environment with established DevOps team members
